Don't know; I guess the doctor. Grandma lost the ability to talk or even blink after a while, so we didn't know how she was feeling. We kept giving her the medication though.

" Are morals about something you want, and then work towards justifying as right? Is 'happiness' what dictates morality?" Though I may not agree with everything that John Stuart Mill believed, and there is a lot to his way of thinking that has flaws, I do believe that a moral life is the p...

Although in some ways I'm envious as it has got to be a little thrilling. ;) Are you kidding me? I feel like Saul/Paul when he was converted. Me finding the truth made my heart race a million beats per minute! Which is unusual because my heart usually beats a thousand per minute....I gotta see a do...

Now if someone turned from God because they did not resolve their own doubts, the fault lies with themselves. No! It's not their fault! It's not their fault!!! (sobs uncontrollably) You don't believe me, go to a place where many hard skeptics and atheists post, bring up the issue with them, and the...

Many people do not take the time to research and find answers. I couldn't disagree more! There's so much stuff that I am still learning about even though it's been with me for a while. I didn't find out about the whole Midianite story until I became a member and asked, then I was booted off for sou...

I'm afraid I'm going to have to get serious for a moment. There is nothing riduculas about this subject. I watched my grandmother deteriorate from cancer before my eyes, and God bless her for going through all the pain while refusing any life support. But she was on pain medication...what if there w...

Good thinking, soldier! He might just make it! The more I read the OT, the more pre-meditated murder I see. Even worse, it's ordered by God Himself. Does this mean God is evil? Not at all, he's just aware of the world we live in, and he knows we can't shield ourselves from sin by hiding from ...

But what if that option wasn't available? What if the world was like "The Road Warrior" where there was no gas, so we couldn't even drive to the pharmacy to get Aprin? (Wow. I am getting too damn dark for even my own taste :( )

I think we have to stop thinking of sin in terms of what's "against the rules", and start thinking of universal morality. If I had a friend/family member/total stranger who wanted me to kill him because he was in extreme pain, the only Christian thing to do is to commit murder. If I felt h...

I believe that the NT says that to love , or not to love is the real question. Searching for what murder is defined as, seems to me like a form of legalism. To me, it's very simple: Are you doing something that would affect your neighbor in a negative way? Are you doing to others what you would NOT ...

That website was interesting. Nothing groundbreaking, but it makes a claim that I need to address. That is, the passage in Exodus clearly means that killing or injuring an unborn baby is the same as killing or injuring an adult. I've written an email to Jewish.com's " Ask a Rabbi " on this...

Hello salt . :P Sorry I've been absent for a while. I've found some of these passages to be intriguing. Leviticus 17:11 "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the alter to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes aton...
