Infant baptism is not solely Roamn Catholic, so I'm not sure why it is in a RC thread. Shouldn't that be a separate issue, considering many denominations practice it? Just asking since I am new to the board.

If Paul had a hallucination, it was certainly one of the most profound, coherent, and philosophical hallucinations anyone ever had since it formed the basis for most of the New Testament and, therefore, most of the Christian religion. That hallucination must have gone on for a long time in order for...

How much do clothes matter, and to whom? After the Fall, God clothed Adam and Eve. Over and over again in the OT, nakedness is shameful. In the NT women are called to be modest. Clearly, clothes matter to God, or He would not have had the authors of the Scriptures discuss those topics. How much?? W...

The same topic got brought up today in another group I am in, and the moderator mentioned that a lot of modern worship songs contain bad theology because they don't focus on Christ.

I love, love, love hymns. I like some of the modern songs, but the old hymns are my favorites.

What women wore in the 1920's would have given the puritans of the 1700's heart failure. What they wear now would have gotten them arrested in the 1920's. Have we gone too far? Yes, we certainly have. I was watching one of the nightly talk shows (I think it was Dateline , but I'm not positive), and...

Modest Dress and Headcoverings: Male Response?

I've noticed that most of the posters here are male, and I was wondering if you had any thoughts about modest dress and/or headcoverings. I would be interested to get the male perspective as I have discussed this many times with my Christian sisters.

I know how to do a regular quotation, but what do I use to copy the quotation so that it will give the person's id?
