Re: Hawking - God did not create the universe
Nobody, not even a physicist such as Stephen Hawking knows what gravity is or isn't. We can observe the effect of gravity and apply mathematical equations (ie: newtoniam mechanics, force = mass * acceleration), but we don't know the cause of gravity. If one does not know the cause, we do not know if...

Re: Evolution Question.
But does it really explain the isolated tribes? I understand the explanation. But it can't account for everyone. This is the really interesting part. There is a very interesting case with many life forms on our planet that were seperated for millions of years between continents and habitat, yet ast...

Re: Assymetrical to symmetrical complexity
I can forsee Darwinists responding that geometrically symmetric design is selectively advantageous due to a number of possible reasons such as mobility as a key function for adaptation and survival. There seems to be an overall determining force for end-product symmetrical design. However, my argume...

Re: Darwin and Reproduction!
This is a good argument, you are correct that this is the achilles heal since sexual reproduction is the underlying driving force of mutations and subsequent evolution. Darwinian Evolutionists usually discuss mutations in the reproductive context, as far as I can tell.

Re: Assymetrical to symmetrical complexity
Since this thread has gone off topic, I think I will add a few more things to my argument for any of the readers following it. Asymmetric to symmetrical design complexity (ASDC) is nothing short of a consequence of what we observe. An embryo, for example, seems to evolve backwards, where the symmet...

Re: Assymetrical to symmetrical complexity
You seem to have made a number of baseless assertions, followed by a non-sequitur conclusion. The recurrent laryngeal nerve is a branch of the vagus nerve which innervates the larynx. But, instead of branching off in the neck and travelling directly to the larynx, it follows a long, looping course ...

Re: Assymetrical to symmetrical complexity
"the greater the assymetrical complexity, the lesser the chance that this assymmetrical complexity can form symmetry." Um, sorry you've completely lost me. Can you first define what you mean by "complexity", then "asymmetrical complexity", and finally "symmetrical...

Re: Assymetrical to symmetrical complexity
No, snowflakes aren't information processing systems, they form through the laws of physics and chemistry by symmetrical crystalization of water molecules. Look it up.Sceptic wrote:Snowflakes are symmetrical, do they show evidence of design?

Re: Assymetrical to symmetrical complexity
Snowflakes are symmetrical, do they show evidence of design? Thats right, but thats not my argument. My argument is that the greater the assymetrical complexity, the lesser the chance that this assymmetrical complexity can form symmetry. Proteins assemble, while they are assymmetrical the eventual ...

Assymetrical to symmetrical complexity
Symmetry is defined in the context of biology as: “Symmetry in biology is the balanced distribution of duplicate body parts or shapes. The body plans of most multicellular organisms exhibit some form of symmetry, either radial symmetry or bilateral symmetry or "spherical symmetry". A small...

Great job Gman.
Keep'em coming, enjoying them as well as the ignorant comments they recieve from the chance worshippers.

Re: Concerns About Macroevolution
I heard Dawkins in one of his recent sideshow presentations state that artificial selection with dogs proves evolution. Well, he won't tell you that the wolf phenotype can easily be reverted back to the dog phenotype (ie: they are freely reversible). Same with the fruitflies example Gman has pointe...

Re: Concerns About Macroevolution
Let's see, We will start off with ring species, many evolutionists claim they are a direct example (at least in my understanding) how you can get major macroevolutionary changes in animals like reptiles becomming birds per se. Here are some weblinks from pro evolution sources that describe what rin...
