Re: living on other planets

I think this is the verse you are referring to. It's Mark 13:27: 27 And then He will send forth the angels, and will gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest end of the earth to the farthest end of heaven. I think it's now officially safe for you to move to mars. Haha, yea t...

Re: Cain, Noah and Agriculture

Hello everyone, I used to read this website all the time when I was in highschool and am very happy to have found it once again. I was recently reading Genesis and struggling to understand something. In these two passages the problem lies: Genesis 4:2 Later she [Eve] gave birth to another son, Abel...

Yes he has, thank God! But who is THAT?
That's a really good question!
Who are you really?
Are you not the reincarnation of Larry from the 3 Stooges?

Re: Marriage - It's an Institution

I guess I sound like an annoying jerk when I rant.
But I have had a lot of crap and lies etc so it's partly venting and partly genuine concern over injustice.

Re: Marriage - It's an Institution

And that institution is dying, thanks to sin that is not addressed (like women against men kinda thing) or over addressed (like with men against women kinda thing), in addition to stress in the everyday world.

living on other planets

Some people say it's un-biblical for people to live on other planets like Mars.
But I remember a bible verse that says the angels will take the elect from the ends of heaven, not the ends of earth, at the 2nd coming. Why would this be so if everyone was on earth?

Re: John H. Walton said what about concordism?

I personally have to agree with Walton, I haven't read the article, but from what I've seen of Genesis 1, scientific accuracy is not the aim of the game. Light isn't a source independent from the sun, the earth didn't rise out of the sea and animals didn't 'come forth' from the ground. Science stat...

Re: John H. Walton said what about concordism?

Genesis 1 isn't a down to the atoms scientific account, but it does have some rough parallels to what mainstream science teaches about the universe's history. Gen 1:1-thru first day is the several billion years or more from the beginning of the creation to the Hadean eon, the second day involves the...

Re: Richard Dawkins says...

Richard Dawkins is now a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ , but unfortunately for him he is one the wrong side of eternity . It seems that every atheist that i have encountered wants me to share in their hatred for God. I will not be sucked in and seduced by their hatred for God . Richard will get...

Re: Richard Dawkins says...

I agreed with Dawkins on that Christianity has done a lot of good.
Of course, a lot of bad has been done in it's name too, but that's a human thing. The teachings are pretty good compared to some belief systems out there...

I call my puppy 'Stormy' cos she lays on her back with her feet up in the air. y:x (but i wouldnt be so unkind as to call a dog 'Donnie' ) So actually, you're not putting Stormy down as much as you're actually lifting her up...or are you putting both down? I'm not really sure your intention here. E...
