Re: Tolstoy and belief
Not really. There's just a quick reference about "Back in his time of the 19th century". It's easily overlooked. Especially if you haven't got a clue about who or what Tolstoy was.PaulSacramento wrote:Ok, but the article actually says who Tolstoy was.

Young people today are not erudite. Educated, yes but not erudite. They are uncultured, ignorant and easily led astray.PaulSacramento wrote:You don't know who Tolstoy is ?

Re: Worshipping and loving Christ

What makes you think you are going to get "more" info on Jesus from other sources?
How do you determine if these other sources are informing you correctly about Jesus?

Re: Worshipping and loving Christ
just a thought: if you want to know about Jesus, who he is and what he has done, read the relevant epistles in the bible.
Don't read modern books ABOUT Jesus until you understand the former.
Why should an atheist have to remind you of this?

A young woman returns home after a date with her beau. Her mother asks her "Awwww sweetie, why are you crying?" -"because Johnny asked me to marry him!" -"Why would that make you cry? I thought you loved him!" -"I do love him but he's an ATHEIST! He doesn't believe...

I know about a book you might want to read written by an atheist who once accepted the theory of evolution... bla bla bla ... I know of an even dumber book you may want to read! Many smart people blindly assume it is true without ever having read it! (What's even more amazing is most people have NE...

Your idea is that an individual is only good at what they are known for and therefore have nothing to contribute in other areas. That is what she is pointing out Wrong on all counts.
