Re: Have we crossed the line yet?

Oh how the left must love this world they have created. God, you're tiresome. I'm not even going to bother researching your claims. Almost everything you've posted in the politics section has been [nonsense], so it stands to reason that this most likely is as well. Even if it's not [nonsense], you'...

Re: Tommy Robinson seeks political asylum in the US

Do you think that KKK members, BLM members, or any other racist group, has the right to film or protest, as long as they are within the law? Generally speaking, sure. But none of that is relevant to the events that we're discussing. Here's some more detailed information, taken from an article in th...

Re: Have we crossed the line yet?

Oh Abe...

One of Trump's buddies gets nabbed for running a pedophile ring and a member of Trump's cabinet is forced to resign because he let Trump's buddy off with a slap on the wrist.

Yeah, that's obviously a big win for Trump.

Re: Tommy Robinson seeks political asylum in the US

Wow, she really lays it on thick. Oh, if only somebody cared about justice in Britain! Poor, persecuted Tommy! Thank goodness random people gave him money for crisps! Tommy Robinson (which is a pseudonym that doubles as a right wing dog whistle) cares so very much about justice that when members of ...

Re: AOC's Question on Inflation - Is She Correct?

I don't know if she's right, but it's an interesting topic. I'll look more into it later. That said, some of the comments in that article make me nervous, as does talk of lowering interest rates again. I think that we're overdue for a massive market correction, but Trump wants to do is stomp harder ...

Re: Tommy Robinson seeks political asylum in the US

Are you talking about convicted criminal Tommy Robinson? The guy who's served time for drunken bar brawling, for leading his followers in a drunken soccer riot, for traveling with someone else's passport, and for mortgage fraud? The guy who was so concerned about justice that he turned a trial into ...

Re: Why the Palestinians are unlikely to desire peace.

I don't know what they're currently after. It seems to vary, depending on who's in charge, how Israel is behaving, and so forth. That said, it's pretty clear that they're not interested in being bribed into letting Israel make all the rules.

Re: Canada Goes After Online Content

Not a shred of credibility in that dodge of a comment. Sorry, as what they are doing and their motives are far more conniving than that! It wasn't a dodge. I think that their motives are pretty straightforward. Both companies want to make money. They do that by using algorithms that zero in o what ...

Re: Why the Palestinians are unlikely to desire peace.

Another is that Donald Trump moved the US Embassy to Jerusalem. Still another is the Trump Administration's extreme bias. It's tough to mediate a dispute when you're obviously 100% in support of one of the combatants and are really only interested in getting the other to give up and accept that they...

Re: Canada Goes After Online Content

One approach might be to not allow just a handful of tech companies to have such wide control - make sure a large number of search engines, media are available for all. Course, that presents some serious challenges. I don't buy that complaint. It's just conservative pundits trying to work the ref. ...

Re: Canada Goes After Online Content

A vexing conundrum. On the one hand, unfettered free speech is kind of the American way. On the other hand, hate groups are actively trying to use our free speech rights to gain enough power to take control of the country, and they've been very upfront about their plans to strip the untermenschen of...
