Re: This can't be good!

Just banter, Phil, just banter. That said, I find the comparison to Stu a bit surprising. The things that I said were 95% factual. Half of all Americans get health insurance from their employers. Fact. Many Americans have high deductibles along with high premiums (which are partially covered by thei...

And I'm completely confident that the hole from which you're speaking isn't your mouth, so I guess we're all good here.

Re: This can't be good!

I would agree with that legislation. Birth control should be over the counter. That said, I do understand WHY it isn't since doctors REALLY want to monitor when women play around with their natural cycles. I think that women should ALWAYS consult their GP when they are on the pill. Of course they s...

Re: This can't be good!

Those are two good pieces of legislation. I might have to think about considering the possibility of maybe revising my opinion of Ted Cruz. Also, the beard makes him look a lot less like a newbie shapeshifter that can't quite do human faces.

Re: Have we crossed the line yet?

Phil, it puzzles me that you feel comfortable chalking the whole thing up to mental illness while simultaneously rejecting the assessment of a bunch of mental health experts. Meh, whatever. I've mentioned before that I like Quora. I like it because I care about facts, research, and evidence, but I c...

"Clark" is selfish ******* who doesn't give a damn about his kid. It's sad. a) Since age 11, AB has gender identified as a male. He informed his school counsellor of that when he was 12 years old and in Grade 7 (para. 11); b) He is presently enrolled in Grade 9 at high school under his chosen male n...

Re: So the redacted Mueller Report has been out for a while...

Abortion is legal in Canada. So is the morning after pill that keeps one from "getting" pregnant or implantation ( reason you have less abortions here by the way). I'm sure that's a factor. Canada is also a much better place for a poor person to have a baby, which I imagine is a factor as well. For...

Re: So the redacted Mueller Report has been out for a while...

I think you missed my earlier question. I read that in Canada there are no abortion laws to speak of, and abortion is treated like any other medical issue - something for a woman to discuss in private with her doctor. Is that accurate? I've also read that the abortion rates in Canada are much lower ...

Re: So the redacted Mueller Report has been out for a while...

You say that abortion is murder based, I assume, on the Bible. This lady says that there's Biblical support for the pro-choice position. She would be wrong, of course, since the bible is EXPLICIT in it's condemnation of the unjustified/unlawful taking of life: Thou Shall NOT Murder. Explicit doctri...

You are WRONG! "For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works and that my soul knows well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest par...

Re: So the redacted Mueller Report has been out for a while...

I noticed that you seem to have a problem with differences and different interpretations when it comes to the bible and religion. Just so you know you cannot single out Christianity or religion because of differences as it is normal for any group in the world to have differences even in atheism. I'...

BTW, when you guys tell me that I'm wrong I'd appreciate it if you'd try to attach your specific arguments to specific things I said, rather than quoting the whole mess.

It's just a request, B.W. Relax.

Re: So the redacted Mueller Report has been out for a while...

Ok, here goes. Ed, you shouldn't try to argue for a Biblical understanding, as you don't even know (or truly care) what the Bible says about it. And the interpretations of the passages that are relevant aren't obscured by language, culture, or forced literalisms. Do a search on G&S - there are plent...
