Re: So Hortense sent me a PM.

The fact that Ed wanted to expose something or someone is neither here or there. I can understand why he wanted to make this public as he might have also been concerned for others. However, the best approach, as even advised many times by mods themselves, is to go to them first. I personally think, ...

Re: Forgiveness without repentance?

Yeah, you guys are right. It's just hard and diffinetly a process to work through.

Re: Forgiveness without repentance?

Oh well, I guess I will give up looking for a loop hole then that gets me out of forgiving him  But seriously, it's not just about me. He does workshops around NZ teaching other psychologists and is in full time private practice. He really isn't accountable to anyone here apart from God and he ...

Re: Forgiveness without repentance?

God had every right to assert His covenant people admit their sins - but we are not God. Forgiveness doesn't mean we forget, only that we forgive. And forgiveness frees one from harboring and obsessing over people's sin against us. It is effectively freeing, even if the transgressor remains unrepen...

So many times in the OT, God seems to say something like 'If only you would acknowledge what you have done' etc. My problem is the complete denial of actual events that took place or words said. Not just that ...

Re: Being lied about in a complaint

Nessa, any news from the district health board about the status of your case? Thanks for asking. I have had to withdraw from this point from being directly involved. Everything I have submitted still stands but my current therapist will take over. She is the one who originally made the complaint. S...

Re: Being lied about in a complaint

When I went into private practice with them from public, they up lifted stuff I wrote. About 80 hard copy pages. Claimed them as their own property. Didn't make copies and took the originals that belonged in my public health file. Now it looks like it's too late to go the privacy comissioner cause ...

Re: Being lied about in a complaint

A classic tactic many doctors use against patients they either no longer want to treat or wish to deflect criticisms of whatever improper treatment is to accuse them of some psychiatric issue. It's like the favorite weapon of politicians that accuse others of racism - it's designed to sow doubt ove...
