Re: The Faith of Atheists and Agnostics
Saying athiem isn't a worldview is like saying that anarchism isn't a polical position. Why is it every time I look around in these types of discussions, some Theists is always trying to accuse us Atheists of having faith or being a religion? No matter how often we insist we are not, you guys are a...

Re: new study on nde's says they are real
Don't get me wrong, I see issues with the article too, namely how the study the author uses as their main source to back their assertion has nothing to do with the actual assertion at all.

Re: Jesus is God?
Many seem to reject this. Why? It seems to me the passages in the Bible where Jesus refers to God in the third person and not the first. But you have the alpha/omega comment and the kingdom of heaven comes with within sentiment. I think Jesus was trying to espoused an idea that we are all part of G...

Re: Apologetic Challenges.
Allow me to inject my own view on what is the #1 challenge: Uninformed, emotionally grounded Christians who are unable or unwilling to make or teach a logical argument for their faith. A lot of young Christians are giving up on their faith in the face of non-belief because they are simply not taught...

Re: Apologetic Challenges.
#2 isn't even plausible in materialist circles. It's an idea used to get around the Fine Tuned Universe argument for design with no actual scientific backing. #5 Is a method, and does not dispute God in the slightest. It is a "how" answer in regards to Creation. #6 The Bible is mute, becau...

Re: Site disapproving godandscience?
That site, for a bunch of people who arrogantly spout their own reason, seem to lack for it in their arguments. I'm don't agree with everything posted on G&S, but for the most part, he shows more reason than that site does, or even people like Dawkins and the New Atheists. And the G&S explan...

Re: The Gap theory
It would be interesting if it were found in something other than a woo woo site Yeah the problem is people who believe in ET's not many people know about the former world,a lost world because of the theory of evolution. But if these pipes are legit,it is evidence for a lost world and we already know...
