Anyone had any healings lately?
Hi, I am grateful to this site for making me laugh very very hard. Laughter is the best. It's wonderful. Anyone had any healings lately? For the last ten years, I have been keeping a log of healings of problems in my own life, solely through prayer. So far it's about 120 pages long in point form. Lo...

Happy for you. Thanks for sharing how it's going. Evidently you are "waiting on the Lord."

Re: Depressed and Disillusioned
Hi Daniel,
I just read this thread, and I'm wondering, if it is alright to ask, Did you get baptized in January as you had hoped?

Re: Christian Science vs. Christ's deity
Hello, I’ve read all the pages in the original thread and this new thread as well. I enjoyed the funny liar youtube video and the fruitcake and the chauffeur as well. Good laughs. But I’m committed to Christian Science, folks. I love Christian Science. There hasn’t been even one remark made in the t...

Re: Christians
RickD, thanks for your thought about laws of physics. Still cogitating. I forgot to thank neo-x for the welcome in my last post. FL, no reverent person inside or outside of Christian Science could think of Christ Jesus as "just a guy." The definition of the Hebrew word, Messiah, is "a...

Re: Christians
WOW. Thanks for explaining 1/137 a tiny bit. I scanned for anything I could understand, and came up with almost 0/137.
Jesus broke laws of physics in feeding the multitude and walking on water, so is a law a law if there is an exception?

Re: Christians
Thank you for the warm welcomes from Byblos, lover137, Danieltwotwenty, FL, RickD. I am truly enjoying myself. No need to feel embarrassed, lover137. I get that all the time, about the sciences, and I'm completely used to it. People say, "Do you have a lab or something in your church basement?&...

Re: Christians
I have looked at all the sites mentioned above that are supposed to explain Christian Science, and find them all to be inaccurate except, of course, www.christianscience.com, which is our church website. 2 John 7 - 11 doesn't apply. We can "agree to disagree" though, I hope. There's enough...

Re: Christians
The following site is not a good source of information about Christian Science. Why? Because the information posted there looks thorough and exhaustive and impressive, but is actually inaccurate, skewed, and incomplete:

Re: Christians
Sometimes a Christian Scientist will resort to medicine temporarily, and this is a personal and private decision. The church does not bar members from using medical means, and many use glasses, go to the dentist, have a bone set, have a baby in the hospital etc. We respect the desire of medical prof...

Re: Random question
Put your three year old in a stroller and go for a short or long walk! And let the three year old walk beside the stroller on and off. I do this and love it. All the best.
