Many people think Jesus was just a good moral teacher with vast historical influence. Non-Christian cults are obsessed with Him. Atheists and agnostics are as well - why would they care so much about Jesus as opposed to other supposed religious figures? What most don't realize is that there were many, very specific prophecies made about (Jesus) the Messiah that was to come from Israel. And so, just anyone claiming to be the predicted Messiah would not have given them the credibility of such, as the Messiah, just in being born, had to fulfill many specific prophesies. He had to come from the right family line, be born in the right (tiny) place (little Bethlehem), at the right time in history, from the right tribe (see below a linked list of prophesies Jesus had to fulfill just to credibly be the Messiah - yet things that He would have had no control over (https://www.blueletterbible.org/faq/don ... rt_234.cfm). And that's not counting the other incredible predictions of His death, Resurrection, etc. that He amazingly fulfilled!

Only God knows and can predict the future with 100% accuracy - which is how we know that Jesus was the Messiah and IS Himself the resurrected God / man the Old Testament prophesies all point to. This is the difference between Christianity and the cults and false religions - as Christianity is based upon measurable and known historical FACTS!
