With this pandemic. How do we explain why people have to suffer

It seems to me that a person, if he wishes, will find any reason for suffering, complaints, and the like. There are very few people who value what they have, look at what others have, belittle what they have.

This is a broken world filled with evil. And most of the suffering is caused by man. Note that Jesus, living on earth as both God and man, nonetheless did not Himself avoid suffering - as He suffered more than almost any person can even imagine. And that He did so, totally guiltless and undeserving, to provide forgiveness to all those that will receive Him, in an incredible action of love that also made it POSSIBLE (but withheld) for those who will never receive (and only reject) Him - well, it's beyond incredible!

That is also my standard answer: we live in a broken world. We are not in Heaven

Romans 8:18
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

Question what is the fall? Many state it's when the first man and woman caused sin but if humans have been here for a long time. Then what is the fall? Death and natural evil were already here

The Fall of mankind occurred when Adam and and Eve sinned against God (see Genesis 3).
Adam was the first human to deliberately sin against God (Eve was deceived - 1 Tim 2:14).
It was through Adam's sin, that sin and spiritual death entered the world of humanity.

Paul describes it this way in Romans 5:12
Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all mankind, because all sinned
After Adam and Eve sinned, they were ejected from the perfect Paradise of the Garden of Eden, and they no longer had access to the Tree of Life which had provided them with an antidote to physical death.
