This has been an ongoing problem with scientific papers for awhile now ( I have read about this a few times over the last 10 years).
Add to that the issue with submitting papers that counter established scientific views and what you get is the very thing that should NEVER exists in science:
Conformity and Bias.

Not just climate sciences by the way.

So, what does this say for the supposed importance of peer-reviewed articles so published? What does it say about the publication's board?
