I have faith (complete trust or confidence) in a multitude of things that I've deemed as sensible, yes.

Faith is all we have.
1Tim1:15-17
Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever.Amen.

THIS is not a trick answer.

Sno, first thing you need to understand is that Christian faith isn't a blind one.
You first have the inner witness or the experiential experience of the holy spirit within you.
You also have historical evidence
You also have miracles
You also have the miracle of walking the Christian walk and living the Christian life
We can also add philosophical arguments but I think you get the picture.
We are not feidists.
I think you are confusing the 2
The greatest of these evidences is the inner witness of the holy spirit.
Faith will carry us through the rest

Funny how you choose THAT definition and not any of the rest:
4. belief in anything, as a code of ethics, standards of merit, etc.:

Which includes having "faith" in the Law, reason, science and * gasp* being an atheist.

There is a reason this was the first definition:
1. confidence or trust in a person or thing:

Hi Snorider,

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

The Bible does NOT say that faith is the evidence of things that do not exist. It is my experience that there are many things that I have faith in that I cannot physically see with my eyes. And I'm sure you would agree that all truth is not solely dependent upon our senses.

Watch the following video. It's from Professor John Lennox's present speaking tour. The first 30 or so minutes are a lecture on faith and the last 40 or so minutes are questions and answers.

Is Faith a Delusion?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUV-4NYYHNo

After your done watching, I would love to read more comments on your deep-seated faith and why you believe in it.
There are two types of people in our world: those who believe in Christ and those who will.

If Christianity is a man-made religion, then why is its doctrine vehemently against all of man's desires?

Every one that is of the truth hears my voice. Jesus from John 18:37
