Prayer of thankfulness

Father, thank you for keeping me strong
For giving me peace, will to carry on
For all the friends I am surrounded by
For wisdom to see what is truth and what lie

For continuous presence I can feel
For Holy Spirit by whom I was sealed
I pause and marvel at Your glory
countless wonders, countless stories

I pray and hope and long for all
to have Your peace, to hear Your call

written right now...

Have all Blessed Sunday

Thank you Chris.
We probably will have next MRI on December. Depends on availabilty.
I hope as we slowly taper the anti edema medication he will improve. He has now many side effects.
(One never knows whether edema, or tumor growth or medication is causing worsen state.)
Hopefully, his brain does not require high dose of anti edema medication.

His heart beats are not so high as before as we taper the drugs. Still not normal rate.

Thank you all for your prayers.

All my love and prayers Hana y>:D<

One night I dreamed a dream.
As I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
One belonging to me and one to my Lord.

After the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that at many times along the path of my life,
especially at the very lowest and saddest times,
there was only one set of footprints.

This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said once I decided to follow you,
You'd walk with me all the way.
But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me."

He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you."

The ride I can only imagine is long from over but He is always with you xoxo

Dear friends,

Tomas has just had seizure. I suspect electrolyte imbalance from Mannitol infusions (anti edema stuff). He is ok already.
But, what to say.
When mother-in-law went to be with him, I went to another room to take a nap. Then
mother-in-law appeared in my room, checked thhat i am resting, closed the door.
I then decided to go to Tomas room (not such a rest as when me falling
finaly asleep Tomas usually wants to go to toilet and my sleep is
interrupted).
When I entered the room he was in seizure. Started to be blue. We then
positioned him and getting red color back.
Well, not coming to his room....

I always prayed and pray that when something is to happen to Tomas I wish to be there.
So far, I always have been.
(I stopped counting how many times he could be dead)

Again, many things on my heart, but not a way to express it all.
Going to stare the ceiling for a while...

Thank you for listening
my friends

Dearest Hana. How lucky Tomas is to have a wife like you. You have been his strength just as Christ is your strength. I don't have words, only prayer. May God be with you and keep you and deliver Tomas. I can't imagine what it is like though just a couple of weeks back my father got the dengue virus and almost had a near brush with death. He is recovering now but very stressful time. God bless you dear.

Yes, Hana - I echo Neo's post - prayers for stability, rest, peace of mind. Tomas picked a beautiful person in you, no doubt!

Dear friends,

Today he got his sixth DC vaccine. So we are done with them for some time.
Now, we wish and hope to have peaceful Christmas times.
That would be awesome to be home.
Gonna dream about it.
(It is something that is to be appreciated and be thankful for. Not a something we automatically have. Last December was very hard.)

Blessings,
Hana
