According to Peter Atkins, evolution can address origins..

But then again this begs the questions - can origins address evolution?

Not yet but it's on my radar... I'm really interested in what he has to say about the method of multiple competing hypotheses.

In the debate with Atkins, Meyer spoke of Information and every known code coming from a designer; Atkins tried to shout him down with "examples" of information arising naturally. When Meyer pointed out that he was specifically talking about the coded information found in the cell, Atkins' objections seemed to wither away somewhat. Meyer seems to be coming from the same angle as (or similar to) Perry Marshall. I have this book on my radar too.
