Jesus was / IS God - and so why did He pray to the Father while on earth? This excellent short video explains why!

In a widely asked question, people often can't understand the classical Christian doctrine of God's Trinity - that EACH member / Person of the Trinity is FULLY God.That is, God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are EACH FULLY God! It may be helpful to understand that God is not PHYSICAL in His ESSENCE, but that Jesus (also a spiritual being) took on the physical and BECAME a human being (being born as a baby). And He was also resurrected from His physical death a PHYSICAL being (Luke 24:39). And Jesus returned to Heaven in His physical body and will likewise return in His PHYSICAL body (Acts 1:9-11). And so, Jesus is BOTH a physical fully God and fully man. And the Apostle Paul, in 1 Timothy 2:5, also tells us Jesus has RETAINED His humanity in Heaven. Of course, as we are all finite humans living in our bodies, our comprehension of a spiritual being making up the ONE God (this is NOT polytheism), while Scripture's teaching, is difficult to understand.

A caution: In the video and elsewhere, the figurative use of the word "part" is often used to explain that the Trinity of the ONE God is made up of three PERSONS - the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. And the caution lies in correctly understanding that no individual Person of God's Trinity is merely PART God - as in being 1/3 God. No, EACH member of the Trinitarian God is individually and FULLY God, as if one were merely 1/3 God, they wouldn't truly be FULLY God. So, they are ONE in essence, with each member having a different ROLE within what God is. Confusing? Yes, because we are men!
