See this incredible story of famous Japanese pilot Mitsuo Fuchida, originally a Buddhist and fanatical supporter of Japan and its Samurai code, with its seething hatred of the United States. Fuchida was the pilot chosen to lead the attack on Pearl Harbor,and the one who radioed the success of the Japanese attack while still airborne: "Tora, tora, tora!" But God had other plans for him. Of all of the Japanese officers to attack Pearl Harbor, he was the only one to survive the attack. He was later saved from certain death and (then unknown) radiation poisoning, as his orders had him to be in Hiroshima the day of the atomic bombing of the city, but, at the last minute, received orders to a different city.
