Salvation

Post by kmr »

Do you think it is possible for someone to be saved even after death? Could a non-believer, for instance, or someone who had not committed themselves to Christ and died still choose to follow God, or accept his grace?

Is there any scripture on this issue?

you know that is something that we all ask ourselves. i am not sure if this helps answer but it might shed some light. 1st Peter 3: 18-20 but then again those were people who lived prior to Christ basically He went to those in prison to preach the gospel so im not too sure if that would apply now. Nonetheless ultimately God knows someones heart more than we can possibly know or understand. we do not know peoples dying moments and whether or not they open their hearts to God/Christ so basically He is the ultimate judge on that. Always Remember John 6:37
Our rightousness is of filthy rags and in the eyes of God all have gone astray and nobody is justified under the Law. We are saved by the Grace of God through our faith in Him and in Him who he has sent Jesus Christ alone. There is no other way.
