Re: Suffering
It seems to me that a person, if he wishes, will find any reason for suffering, complaints, and the like. There are very few people who value what they have, look at what others have, belittle what they have.

Re: Suffering
This is a broken world filled with evil. And most of the suffering is caused by man. Note that Jesus, living on earth as both God and man, nonetheless did not Himself avoid suffering - as He suffered more than almost any person can even imagine. And that He did so, totally guiltless and undeserving, to provide forgiveness to all those that will receive Him, in an incredible action of love that also made it POSSIBLE (but withheld) for those who will never receive (and only reject) Him- well, it's beyond incredible!

Re: Suffering
That is also my standard answer: we live in a broken world. We are not in Heaven
But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good.

Romans 8:18
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
