Interesting article about religion and high IQs

Post by DRDS »

Hey everyone, recently I came across this great article that talks about the top 10 living people with the highest IQs and currently eight of the ten are theists and six of the ten are followers of Christ. Here is the link to the article. Enjoy and GB.

Interesting reading.
But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good.

Put my name on the list and the scale would go in the opposite direction. :pound:

Christianity is and always has been a very "science friendly" religion, typically.
Not, for sure some corporate sectors have been a bit "anti-science" at times, the religion in of itself is not.
It is a religion based on reason and rational IF one choose to see it for what it is a NOT what others make it out to be.

Who measures IQ's?

Man measures intelligence., but GOD doesn't., GOD measures the heart and mind! The weight of the soul!

You can have the most educated doctor or engineer, but if that one is without GOD, then his/her IQ is null and void

and you can have the most downtrodden person in any place living poor and so-called unschooled but yet, have the simplest faith in Christ..
and that one to me ~> has the highest IQ in the world., for they perceive the true "intelligence" of the world., true IQ
Your outward profession of having put on Christ, has as yet to put off Plato from your heart!

I am extremely hurt and insulted. Do you think it is OK to make sport of a poor, defenseless person like me? All my life I have had to overcome extreme difficulties: poverty, parental abuse, bullies, no education, bad jobs, false friends...you name the bad luck, I've had it. It has taken me years and years to get a little bit of self-esteem and now you and RickD have TAKEN IT AWAY!

Oh! I'm so looonely! Nooobody loves me! I think I shall cry myself to sleep.

If they had a social gospel in the days of the prodigal son, somebody would have given him a bed and a sandwich and he never would have gone home.

I should have appended different smiley. I meant this one :)
Does it now sound differently?

You remind me of my mother. She would hit me across the head with a stick, then she would give me a bowl of watery soup...while smiling.

A pilot is someone with a pilot's license. Since I still have the licence, I still am a pilot.

Are you making an oblique reference to the wreckage that is my poor, sorrowful & useless life?
