To whom it may concern,

It has been brought to my attention that some people interpret huh? as being rude.

If huh? is indeed interpreted as rude, please accept my most humble apologies, it was never my intention to offend.

Speaking of honesty with the wife...

The other night the wife and I were getting ready to go out. I guess she was feeling a little down on herself. She said, "I look fat in this dress! Tell me a compliment!"

So I said, "well honey, you have perfect eyesight!"

So, honesty, even when spoken out of love, isn't always the best policy.

Omg Rick! You just confirmed she looking fat indirectly. :shakehead:

You should have said something else like, "Well, at least the dress looks nice."

Men are so insensitive!

The wife and I got into an argument the other night. She was going off on how I don't listen to her, blah, blah, blah.
She was trying to make the point that I don't care because I don't listen to her. She also was yelling about some other stuff too. But I don't remember what it was, because I wasn't listening.

This is because of the not politically correct answer: men and women think different and are different.

Women can processes more thought in speech than a man can. Our Man minds cannot handle more than one linear line of thought and speech at a time. For example:

My wife was talking about issue number one.... next I missed the transition into point 2, new issue 2, 3, 4, and 5 from issue one. I was still on issue one, So I answered to issue one while she was on issue 5 and she got mad. Then I realized my mistake and said are you talking about issue one, "no", she replied. "I am talking about shoes... why don't you listen!"

Problem, I was listening but my mind is too man slow to discern the change of topic...

So for all you ladies, has your hubby answered to a topic you left long ago?

If so, we men slow thinkers learn to say "fine, hmmm, and Yes," alot...
