Ed,

The only question that I have, is what are YOU doing reading foxnews?

Ed, you do realize Scripture says NO one can ever know the exact time of Christ's return? So all Scripturally wise people always ignore such nonsense! Matthew 24:42-44

Course, secular media love stuff like this: "Ah, those silly Christians doomsdayers are at it again!"

I like when people call preppers crazy....

...just means there will be less competition for the lemon juice and hydrogen peroxide for my basement doomsday supply.

Oh, Phil. You and your endless obsession with Scripture.

And Hortence, I've been stocking guns and ammo so when society collapses (so Thursday, I guess) I'll be coming for your lemon juice and peroxide, as well as a detailed explanation of why anyone would want those things.

The peroxide is an all purpose water disinfectant, and the lemon juice prevents scurvy. That, along with dehydrated beans for amino acids and protein, and rice for carbohydrates will give you everything you need to survive. Granted, it's the bare minimum for human existence, but survive you shall.

edit: cheap, 365 day supply of multivitamins is also a good idea. You can also substitute lemon juice for vegetable oil, or have both for better meals.

Also pay attention to what I said above. It may just save your life if God forbid something catastrophic happens. I was a boy scout once. Didn't make it to Eagle though....but I do know about being prepared

  • The fruitcake extremity of Christianity today,
  • The headinsand unbelief of atheism tomorrow.
Why don't you read someone with a balanced understanding, and find out how reasonable scripture can be?

Thanks, B.W., but I was actually looking forward to life after the Rapture (which is what I'm assuming is supposed to happen. I'm ashamed to admit it, but I didn't read the article). Anyway, I'm thinking it will be like Europe after the plague. Boomtown, baby!

And thanks, Hortence. That's interesting information that I didn't know at all. We'll, other than scurvy, but I wouldn't have thought of that.

Shocking, right, a Christian who takes Scripture seriously.? y:-? My point is that the nuts selling their belongings and sitting on their roofs apparently don't even know what Jesus Himself said about this very issue.

Thank goodness, it was all an "honest" misunderstanding.
I'm glad I found out just in time to pull the eBay listings for all of my worldly possessions.

it's one of those things where you'll know it when it happens, not before.

7pm where I am, and it was a pretty nice day. Sunny no clouds. I think it's okay to call it now.
