When did it start gaining a lot of people? I hear it was after 9/11.

I don't get atheism.
An absolute negative statement isn't logical.
I think that the push in the past from the likes of Dawkins and Hitchens and Harris ( still going) has "created" a movement that allows people to believe that atheism is not only logical but anything other than it is irrational.
