Prayers please

I know I haven't been around much lately and when I have I haven't been so much my usual self.
But I really need your prayers.
My son has had some issues the last year. Issues relating with growth and complications from early puberty.
He's also been unwell. Persistent headaches and some 'episodes' where he has fainted, felt nauseous, dizzy and some double vision and balance issues.
They haven't been ongoing.
One minute he is as fit as a fiddle and the next unwell.
We went to the doctors again today and he had some blood pressure issues. Initially he had really high blood pressure then 5 mins later dangerously low.
The doctor has sent him for a brain scan tomorrow morning. He is checking for a brain tumor.
I'm trying to stay positive and not worry but it's just not the current health issues. Early puberty and stunted growth in boys can be attributed to a brain tumor.
He has already had X-rays, scans and blood tests this year. A diagnosis that he will never grow past 5"2 which have really taken its toll on him. But never any answers as to why.
Now he has to go through this.
An awful lot on the shoulders of a 14 yr old.
I'm trying to stay strong and positive but inside I'm struggling.
I just pray that tomorrow brings good news and not an explanation to all these issues that I'm dreading.
Your prayers would be greatly appreciated!!

My dear,
I pray that it will not be a brain tumor. And if yes, please, get back to me.
I pray also for God holding you up and giving strength and wisdom to you to be a great support to your child.
If I was there, I would hug you very tightly.

I rang this morning and the results had just come through to our doctor but there were no appointments available today so we have an appointment tomorrow arvo. They wouldn't give results over the phone.
I'm looking at this lack of urgency as a good sign.
I'm feeling much better today and calmer.
I was just really taken aback and scared when the doctor wanted the scans and spoke of the possibility.
I'm really humbled and grateful for all your prayers.
Especially Hana.
Thankyou xo
With what you have on your shoulders, your heart and caring for others is truly amazing.

On a side note, Riley got in trouble today at school that was pretty out of character for him.
He's far from perfect but a good kid.
He's a bit slack sometimes with his homework ect but I went for parent/teacher interviews a couple months back and all his teachers said that he could be a bit lazy with his school work but he was respectful and easy to like.
Then today he was apparently really out of line. Rude and full of attitude.
He got in trouble then laughed it off infront of the vice principle.
It's really out of character. I haven't informed the school of what's going on with him not only medically but psychologically.
I don't want to make excuses for poor behaviour but perhaps this is one time when perhaps he needs a bit of a break or understanding.
My hubby disagrees but I think the school should know the situation as it may shed some light on his behaviour.
Thoughts?

Sorry, Mel, didn't see this. Prayers for Riley, peace and wisdom for you and your husband.

My youngest is just about a year younger - it can be really challenging. We just got a call from the school yesterday - behavioral related. Our kid is extremely strong-willed!

Yep I think mine are the same,
Strong willed with a propensity to be a little argumentative. No idea who they got that from :eugeek:
Must be their father
Seriously though, thank you Philip
