Prayer for crochet

I've been trying to figure out how to enter a prayer request.
Guess I'll simply share 'here' and 'now'.

I have gastro-intestinal problems. As a result of menopause, some muscle tone has gradually faded. The intestinal tract has been affected. Had pelvic up-lift surgery about 3 yrs ago. Was Partially successful. More muscle tone was lost after surgery. A muscle/nerve stimulator was tried, but not very successful. Seems the electrodes inserted didn't stay in place so gave a false indication of how it was supposed to work. Turns out - elimination was as successful on it's own as with the stimulator. 50/50. So That has left me with taking a medication everyday as well as high fiber and trying to regulate my insides. Not fun.

So --prayer for wisdom as to everyday habits/ patience with being 'me'. Bladder control problems are very common. But bowel regulation is one of 'those' subjects. It's simply one of those topics that's not talked about over coffee with a neighbor. Unless ya meet in the same Dr. office.

My sister has Crohn's. Bowel disorders never get talked about do they?

Bladder problems are more popular and not as yucky.

One of my problems is that the rectum doesn't operate correctly Consistantly. A woman's pelvic floor can get messed up after having kids , etc. Challenging -- A few 'minor' things -- mixed together can be challenging.

Is it something that you can improve? Or is it more a case of just preventing it from getting worse?
