How does deep self deception work?
I don't think he is 'lying' because I believe he believes what he is saying is true. That is what I am struggling with. How can a therapist be so self deceived? Though sometimes I think they could be more self deceived because they are experts at justifying everything.
Sounds like he’s a narcissist.
And I’m totally serious.
He sounds like he thinks that since he said it, that’s just the way it is. He’s got an overinflated belief in himself. Unless he’s just flat out lying.
