Praying to Jesus?

Post by Christian2 »

Jesus told His disciples to pray to the Father.

In the Gospel of John Jesus said if you pray in His name He would do it, which means Jesus can hear and answer prayers.

Stephen prayed to Jesus in Acts 7.

So, is it OK to pray to Jesus or not?

Thanks.

In the first place, yes, we can pray to God – as Jesus IS God!

Should we worship Jesus?

But should we PRAY to Jesus? We certainly CAN: https://www.thegospelcoalition.org/arti ... to-jesus/

The Apostle Paul noted: ““To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours” (1 Cor. 1:2)."
