I apologize to Ken Ham,Jac and FL and any YEC's

Post by abelcainsbrother »

Earlier I posted a link about something Ken Ham said about Old earth creationism and I implied that Ken ham thinks we are heretics if we believe in an old earth and I misrepresented what Ken Ham said, and I apologize to any I offended,I was wrong.

Instead I should have explained that what Ken Ham said does not apply to the Gap Theory interpretation and I did not do that, instead I misrepresented what Ken Ham said and I apologize. I will never again do anything like this again however I do disagree with the young earth creation interpretation and I will continue to explain why in a respectful brother in Christ way when the opportunity presents itself. I think we benefit from these kinds of discussions.
Hebrews 12:2-3 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

2nd Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of this glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God,should shine unto them.

I don't think we benefit at all from axe grinding. Seeing sparks fly just isn't for me.

If they had a social gospel in the days of the prodigal son, somebody would have given him a bed and a sandwich and he never would have gone home.

I just wish Ken Ham would apologise to me.

Apology accepted. And K, I'd be okay with saying that if KH doesn't apologize to you by the end of the week (sidenote: I'd never ask him to apologise . . . that's just silly), then we could just permaban him! Id' be really hurt if he never showed up here again at G&S. ;)

And that, brothers and sisters, is the kind of foolishness you get people who insist on denying biblical theism. A good illustration of any as the length people will go to avoid acknowledging basic truths.
