The Apostle Paul's Airport

Post by Philip »

Not just any Apostle has an airport named for him. Can't you just hear Paul asking, "Lord, what's an airport?"

I'd never heard of this!

I looked it up. The airport is in Macedonia. There are daily flights from Amsterdam.

If they had a social gospel in the days of the prodigal son, somebody would have given him a bed and a sandwich and he never would have gone home.

Wouldn't St. Christopher be a more appropriate name for an airport?

I don't think so. Saint Christopher keeps you safe in swiftly moving objects: cars, trains, planes, flying saucers and such.

Do you have a St Christopher medallion keeping you safe in your 550HP Shelby GT500?

Maybe this is what Paul meant in 1 Thessalonians 4:17
