The U.S. in bible prophesy

Post by RickD »

What is the U.S.'s role, if any in bible prophesy?
John 5:24
24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

No role, none, zip, nada. No show.

Well....the Bible does say that the whole world will be allied against Israel at Armageddon, so I guess that would include the USA. Assuming, of course, that the USA is still around at that time.

If they had a social gospel in the days of the prodigal son, somebody would have given him a bed and a sandwich and he never would have gone home.

A lot of folks assume the demise of the US because it can't be linked to an Bible prophecy.

The USA is of no interest in Bible prophesy. It is just not there. The Bible speaks of these nations only:

-Babylon
-Philistia
-Moab
-Damascus
-Ethiopia
-Egypt
-Edom
-Tyre & Sidon
-The ''Isles of the Sea''

I may have forgotten one or two...spank me! but I'm pretty sure that the USA isn't in my Bible, demised or otherwised.

PS...oops! I forgot the only important nation for God: Israel!

on a serious note, I agree
