We all did, didn't we? Unless you wore born with booties that grandma crocheted for you.

There are just some places where the sun ain't supposed to shine :esurprised: I'm thinking bad sunburn in places that typically receive no sun. And then a few days later - the peeling, the itching, the bitching! :pound:

All this talk about nudisty has gotten me thinking.

I have to confess something to you all. I shower in the nude. I've been doing it for as long as I can remember. I feel guilty now. Could someone sew some fig leaves together for me to shower in?
:shower:

A grim spectacle of nature, without a doubt. Did you, like, have to tell us?

As long as you don't Also share that your wife joins you -- THAT would simply be Too Much Confession.

AND -- babies don't stay naked very long -- they are wrapped in a blanket and a diaper is put on them. One of the first things my younger son did after birth was to 'squirt' the Dr. And he said 'well, at least we know That works'.

We'll give you a Towel to dry off with -- in place Of those fig leaves.

Underneath my clothes, I'm naked

There are certainly both secular and Christian reasons for modesty. The secular involves simple sanitation, while the Christian is about humility, I think. Not every nudist is unattractive. But, going around flaunting your body by not covering up is pretty boisterous. If stars or starlets went about Hollywood Blv. in not but their skivvies, we might think, "Show-off!"

The rule of thumb for modesty today is to leave it up to the imagination, since this actually helps you, because human imagination can be very vivid and you will seem more attractive this way in your dear one's eyes, :ewink: besides all that, the biblical doctrine is about much more than what the human eyes can see.

Good point :) Underneath our clothes.
Dressing modestly is important -- guys are easily turned on by the visual -- so we don't want to give them Too much Visual. Unless they are our husbands in our homes.
And young people / young ladies Need to be sensitive to Not wanting to turn on the guys at school and Especially Not when dating. And, yes, Bible wants us to be modest -- our 'dress' tells a lot about our inner character. A young lady can be stylish And very modestly covered.
