I have in the past spent a lot of time writing posts and then hit the post button, lost them and got grumpy. I am now in the habit, and have been for some time, of selecting all then copying before clicking submit. I've seen a few people here recently lamenting the loss of large posts. Ctrl/Cmd A - Ctrl/Cmd C before hitting the post button is a habit that will pay off on occasion and I feel is worthwhile.
Just a thought.

Thanks For the tip Proinsias. I seem to lose my posts on my iPod. More than once in a long post, my iPod has kicked me off safari onto the menu page. Very frustrating.

Good idea. Or, use a word processor and then cut and paste the post in so you can do it again if you lose it.

I made copying the post a habit very early after losing some long posts.

I could only turn and stare in horror at the chief surgeon.
Death by starvation is a terrible thing, Goodsir, continued Stanley.
