And FYI, when speaking of murder with regard to abortion, it's usually the doctor performing the abortion, that is the one who is called...

Re: Abortion - Irish have done it. Consequences ?

Chill out. You guys are stressing me out ! I reckon there is one thing every single one of us can agree with: That your parents decided not to abort you .......but there's always the extremely late term option /ducks That is useless. It would not have made any difference, nor it does now. Well, if ...

Re: Abortion - Irish have done it. Consequences ?

When all is said and done, I think it is good for women to have the right to abort. In my previous convo's, some here think abortion is straight up murder. However, I think it is only such when the baby is not dependant on the mother biologically or has come to term. As for the spiritual argument, ...

Re: God's Ten Commandments? Still valid?

Warren, Those who are in Christ are already been judged and declared righteous. We are God's children. God's grace saves us exactly because we're not sinners any more even though we sin.

Re: God's Ten Commandments? Still valid?

There you proved my point. The reason we don't need to follow the law is because we can simply love. But love is the fulfillment of law, obeying the law isn't love. For you can obey the law in fear of punishment without actually changing. But love goes beyond the law. And does what sadly law can ne...

Re: God's Ten Commandments? Still valid?

Weren't you recently arguing that Jesus as God didn't break the Sabbath, but rather fulfilled the requirements of the Law? Who was nailed to the cross? So too the requirements of the Law, met in Jesus, were also nailed. 1. Let's be logical. You can ask any lawyer about a person that is found "...

Re: God's Ten Commandments? Still valid?

Only a jew knows sin from the law. The Christian knows it from Christ's teachings which at times goes against what the ot claims. Plus most of the decalouge Is straight forward common sense. Don't lie don't steal, etc etc, these ideas exist outside of the law as well, and any functioning society wo...

Re: living on other planets

I think it is because the bible places and new heaven and earth. And the earth being renewed. So in one way they believe they'd be left out if they moved to some other planet. However # if humanity survives its folly then perhaps someday we would have to move to some other planet# not necessarily ma...

What the hell are you talking about bav? no one is encouraged to sin just because they are in Christ and under the law no more. You are spewing nonsense all over the place. Exactly. No one is encouraged to sin...and so how do we know what sin is? Romans 3:20 and Romans 7:7 20Therefore no one will b...
