Ok then, Was the Tribulation in Revelations a Chronological Event? No. The book of Revelation, for the most part, was a prophecy written to the First Century Churches of Asia Minor (Rev. 1:4) about "things which must shortly take place" (1:1), were "near" (1:3), and "about ...

Peter never said such a thing. There was no resurection in 70ad. That idea isn't Biblical. There will be a resurection but not until Isreal returns to its homeland and the exact opposite happpened in 70ad. Sorry Re-reading over some things here After Puritan Responded to Wayne about the Moon turnin...

Its a pre-trib rapture that Paul is talking about in 1 Thes 4. Paul does not write about anything that has already happened. That wouldn't make sense. None of the plagues happened in 70ad. Israel wasn't a nation until 1948. It certainly wasn't a nation in 70ad. The opposite happened then. The nation...

1 thes 4 -16-17 can only mean one thing: There is a time when the saints will join with Christ in the clouds to reign with him forever. Daniel and Ezekiel have plenty of passages that say that Israel must return to its homeland before any tribulation starts. Just look at matt 24 in which Jesus talks...

I believe there is a rapture in which Jesus returns for his sanits who will gather with him in the clouds 1 Cor 15:51. Christ will not tuch the ground the first time. But the resurrection happens later when Christ splits the mount of Olives in two. Those who were saved during the trubulation and sur...

There certainly is Biblical proof for the rapture and I have listed several scriptures. There has to be a rapture or we're dead in our sins. Its okay with me if Puritan Lad believes the way he does, but I see no scripture that forbids Christians from holding on to the pre-trib view. God isn't going ...

I appreciate what your saying but I get frustrated with Puritan Lad's different positions on the end times. He argues that the resurrection happened in 70ad and yet he has one post in which he denies that he said that and repeated himself several times. I enjoy debating with people who have differen...

There will be a resurection but not until Isreal returns to its homeland and the exact opposite happpened in 70ad. Where do you keep on getting the Resurrection from? :? I can understand you saying Tribulatio...

I don't see how the sun could have turned to blood in the 1st century even if the meaning was symbolic. If you want to go that route then the term "generation" has to be symbolic. One cannot make a scripture symbolic merely because it fits his view but I sense thats whats happening here. I...

It sure looks to me like its Puritan Lad who is doing all the skimming. I think its a bit strange to me that he defends the view that the tribulation happened in 70ad as if it were a requirement for Christians to believe it and yet there''s no proof for it anywhere in the scriptires for it. I get th...

In other words there are two resurections! I certainltly agree with that idea. There will be people who be saved during the tribulation and there will be a number who will survive all of the plagues and will join with Christ when he sets foot on the eart and split the mount of Olives in two. My prop...

I wonder if you really know what your position is at all on the end times. Every time I dispprove one theory you switch to another. You seem to think one can believe in the post trib and the preterist view at the same time. Why can't you make up your mind? I believe the pre-trib is best way to under...

Is Paul lying when he talks about the blessed hope in Titus 3:7? Thats the rapture and it has to come first. Sorry, I just don't see how you arrive at that conclusion. Titus 3:7 (KJV) That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. The hope describe...
