Re: Sharia Law compared to Old Testament Law
i've lived in several Islamic countries, and while i am aware of exceptions to the rule, the ones that make the news, Sharia Law is a much overblown issue, that really compares pretty favorably to the custom in any small "Christian" town that is no less mired in the Law, and prolly quite a...

Re: "What time is"
Yes, I agree, God can never have a new thought of something that would one day He would make become reality. yikes, how did you guys ever get there? And yet, we have not Jesus or His apostles asserting ANY of it to be problematic and not God-given. Hmm, seems like we have plenty of seeing and not s...

Re: 42 Laws of maat vs Ten commandments
i don't mean to discredit the Bible with that, just that for whatever reason, our Commandments dealing with each other predate Torah. Doesn't mean that they didn't come from God though.

Re: Understanding the Trinity
the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. 36For they cannot die anymore, because they are like angels and are sons of God, since they are sons of the resurrection. For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Re: Understanding the Trinity
In the beginning was (I AM) the Word, and the Word was (face to face) God and God was the word ... Hasn't God also said that He was, and that He will be? So this seems to diminish the meaning of "Understand I AM," wadr, if the "AM" is made a title instead of being seen as emphat...

Re: Understanding the Trinity
Maybe you can do what bbyrd009 failed to do, by making an actual, coherent argument as to why the Trinity isn't biblical. yikes, someone actually lets you moderate a forum? You are disgusting, and you cannot quote me saying that the Trinity is not Biblical, you silly little man. And you are perfect...

Re: Understanding the Trinity
Again, for the benefit of those following along, bbyrd is asking for the fruit of the doctrine of the Trinity. And he claims it's biblical to look for fruit of this doctrine, even after he was shown that his "biblical " argument, was about the fruit of false teachers. And the fruit that t...

Re: Understanding the Trinity
...Go to all the world and preach the Gospel. ok well that is very noble; but we are going to have to answer the charges of setting the world on fire, ok? My comment was referring to the passage in Matthew 28 the last couple of verses -- many times referred to as The Great Commission. Believers are...

Re: Hells Dominion by B.W. Melvin
Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me? so exactly what is your interpretation of this verse? well, i would take it that Christ became manifest after the Holy Spirit came down, and Paul revealed the Body...

Re: Understanding the Trinity
I honestly can't tell if you're a very smart child or an arrogant fool. and whether you realize it or not, or care even if you do, notice that you are sliding further and further into antichrist here, now suggesting that i am a fool, when all i ever did was ask for an honest witness of the fruit, a...

Re: Understanding the Trinity
Seriously, it is high time you put up or shut up. Present your case biblically as well as logically against the trinity and let's see what you've got. And don't give me this mumbo-jumbo talk about you accepting the trinity as it is clear that you don't. so now, put up or shut up yourself; what is y...
