Powerpoint reconciling 6 day creation with a 13.8 billion year old universe
I found this on reddit: HERE: https://sixdayscience.com/2013/02/25/six-days-of-creation/ or HERE: https://www.slideshare.net/SarahSalviander/the-six-days-of-genesis-63120073 I thought it was an interesting slide, wanted to share, not quite sure what to think about it yet. Quote from the slide "...

Is Repentance a Work?
9pn1g3pduLE I'd say No, it's not a work. The bible tells us we need to repent. What's repentance? I wrote an article here: http://www.christessays.com/repent/ to repent, to change any or all of the elements composing one's life: attitude, thoughts, and behaviors concerning the demands of God for ri...

Re: Prayers for my secular family
It's been 3 years since I've updated this.. time flies! I'm pretty sure my parents think Christianity is a mental illness.. since I became Christian shortly after being hospitalized. Not much has changed unfortunately. I just try to pray for them from a distance now. I sent my brother a copy of Mere...

Romans 8:18
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

Re: New Poster Asking Why God Created Hell
Hell is the current prison that will be cast into the lake of fire, yes, and the lake of fire will be worse than hell. Hell was originally created for the fallen angels to go to a place separate from God, which is what they wanted. God created a place where he doesn't exist and it turns out, life wi...

Re: The Rise of AI, the singularity and the bible and Jesus coming soon
Most of all be prepared with the 4 G's, God, Groceries, Guns, Gold, and in that order too. When one contemplates all of the poor Christians in the world that are living on next to no money, I don't think their security of anything to come is only in having food, gold or guns stockpiled - because th...

Re: Once Saved, Always Saved - Not According to This Lady Who Went to Hell
I think it makes more sense to say, if truly saved always saved, and only God knows who is truly saved from the foundation of the world. However there are also many examples of Christians apostatizing. There is the free will aspect, where a person can kill themselves if they wish. When I say kill th...
