I've been to several Walmarts within the metro area, and they still say Merry Christmas to me and I say thank you and have a good one too. If people are offended, they can 1.) go back to their country and/or 2.) they can simply look away from things that burn their eyes and plug their ears to things...

Re: Science, Design, and the Cardinal

Schonborn has recanted. That is not to say that he does not still believe in design or that evolution is guided by God. He has not recanted his religious faith. No, he has recanted his assertions that it is a flagrant denial of the scientific evidence to argue against those articles of faith. He ha...

Cool, do you have a link? Here's a reference to one story: http://www.time.com/time/covers/1101041025/ [I thought the original newspaper story was an interesting overview, but had no idea it would engender such debate.] It was Time Magazine, my bad. My thoughts on this are this. It doesn't matter! ...

Really? I'm sure I read somewhere there was a gene? It couldn't be a single gene, perhaps it was in a popular science magazine. And they entitled it "The God gene." But if you read the article its actually about the above mentioned hypothesis. Sensationalism sells. Just correcting ...

Hi, I'm new here, and just wanted to say i think this site is awesome, and what you guys are doing is great. I'm sorry i had to ask this, but i remember seeing somewhere some statistics on how Christian prayer actually showed better results in healing the injured, by about 30% at least. Thing is i ...

I'm talking about science. Science requires evidence. If science speculates that Christianity originated in Israel, what is the basis of this speculation. That is what my point is. Notice I replied to your second quote, not the first . Missing the point again BGood ? The quotes belong t...

Science speculates that Christianity originated out of Israel. What is the evidence for this? Besides the bible, you're bible was not printed 2000 years ago. Obviously, and why do you not capitalize Bible? A book and/or a collection of books need to be capitalized. And by saying "you're bible&...
