Re: concealed carry in NC
:guns: Just put some salt in your silver bullets. That will stop anything etheral or otherwise. We don't have an official firearms topic do we? I'm thinking of getting my conceal carry soon, and wouldn't mind some advice on a starter gun. I've heard revolvers are extremely reliable and simple to ma...

I thought Neanderthal were fully human like us-their genetic code is evidence, as well as that they had a similar culture to ours for a long time.

Re: A CONSERVATIVE Writer's Sober Look at Trump
I'm not sure if we're supposed to be opposed to globalism in itself-spreading the Gospel and helping people in need would result in that to an extent-but we realize globalism will eventually lead to the antichrist's reign-but then again that is a necessary evil to help bring the second coming, but w...

Re: Hell and Sheol
I think they are separate. Hell, at least from what I have been able to gather, is complete and utter separation from the presence of God. Nothing good can come of that, it is utter darkness and sorrow, and pain for all time. I believe the imagery of fire is used to illustrate how bad being separat...

Yea I noticed that similarity too, titans in Greek nephilim in Semitic and other cultures i think had something like this too. Sometimes people use similar ideas to their own like Hades to help converts understand easier.

Re: Hell and Sheol
This is good and all, but what we need to be more concerned about is the second death. The first death is unavoidable, unless I guess if u're one of those saints still alive at the second coming or those still alive at the end of the battle of God and Magog. The second one is everlasting...but in Ch...

Re: Dodgey vid or artful expression?
Regarding marriage, sexuality, and the like, our society's almost gone down the crapper. Now nearly everything goes except for the worst stuff and that is starting to get more accepted.

Where in the Bible does it say plants and animals dying was part of God's original plan?
It is mentioned in one link that I'll have to go back and post here but it didn't say what verse.

Re: Hell and Sheol
In the OT, Sheol was simply the place for the dead, all dead, awaiting the resurrection. In the NT and after ( the traditions of the church fathers and so forth) it got "intermixed" with the Hellenistic view of the underworld ( hence the mentions of Tartarus by Peter in 2 Peter). Hell can...

Re: Are radical Muslims a minority?
Damn it... Here's the thing - I don't know much about Islam, and what I do know is history, not religion. Reading between the lines of the comments here, I don't think you guys know much about Islam, either. Those of you who claim to seem to have gotten your information from anti-Islamic propagandi...
