"What group am I?"

I do not know which group of creationists I would fall under, so I'm going to lay out what I believe, and hopefully somebody can set me straight. :fryingpan: Also this is a dual-purpose thread. For anybody that doesn't know which "camp" of creation-thought they fall into, give a detailed d...

Re: Why Pray?

I've had this real desire lately just to be with God... Without words... Communicating heart to heart. Sometimes I wonder if words get in the way. That's why Jesus was all about touch. Jesus would embrace just about anybody, even women, which some Jewish men at the time wouldn't even talk to if the...

Re: Dear atheistic individuals, in what way is the Abrahamic God like every other god?

I'm glad you brought up denominations in Christianity but if you have not noticed the atheist movement actually has denominations too. All atheists and agnostics do not all agree on things,it actually normal to have differences.Atheists and agnostics are blind to their differences though. This is s...

Re: The face of "moderate" Islam

What exactly would a "Christian theocracy" look like, anyway? Would the entire supposed constitution go something like this? "We the people declare that you have the right to use your free will anyway you want to. We hope you will come to the right decision before the day is over. If ...

Re: Rubio: True or Not???!!!

I feel like Trump is vulnerable for the first time in his whole campaign. This Super-Tuesday could make or break his campaign, and the other candidates (at least Rubio and Cruz) did their absolute best to make Trump seem like the problem at the last debate, rather than the Democrats being the problem.

Re: The face of "moderate" Islam

I'm with edward here. You are using extreme side of Islam to bash Islam. Well, here are the countries: Albania, Pakistan, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya Again RiceLobster, If you think the way Islam is practiced in Saudi Arabia is extreme, you need a lesson on Islam. Sharia law in Saudi Arabia is...

Re: "Walked into a bar" jokes

A horse walks into a bar. The bartender says, 'why the long face?' to which the horse replies 'my wife was diagnosed with terminal cancer.' (awful) Bartender: Why is it everytime you take a drink, you take that picture out of your pocket? Patron: It's a picture of my wife. As soon as she looks good,...

Some of these are older than time:

The present, past and future walk into a bar. It was tense.

Re: If you met Adam and Eve

I'd be absolutely interested what they looked like. I imagine Adam was the idealized image of what every male ought to look like, and Eve the idealized image of what every female ought to look like. Edit: Oh, if I could have a intelligible conversation with them? I would ask for gardening tips from...

Re: Why is it so difficult to believe in God?

Is think Hortador was suggesting, that if anyone really wanted to see evidence for God's existence, they can click on the link from the home site. I could have added a qualifier like, "for those that desire to" but I know Kenny is a sincere seeker. It's like I tell people on other website...

Re: Why is it so difficult to believe in God?

Well if you've got evidence and logic on your side, PRESENT SOME!!! For the ump-teen time you have been asked by me (and others) to present any evidence you have to back up your claims. If you have evidence, present it, and we can have a discussion. Ken http://www.godandscience.org These forums are...

The Matrix, begins as a difficult to understand movie series with the first and gradually, if not, exponentially, ending with the last. When I first saw that scene, I was like "oh no did he poison that woman just to prove a point?" but I'm guessing from the context it was just laxative. B...
