Re: Islamophilia and falsification
Islam-ophilia? Did I read that right? That's a new one for sure. I think a good example of Islamophilia is the European Union, who suffer from a sort of Stockholm Syndrome from the effects of Islam on their civilization for nearly 1400 years in some areas (Spain, Greece, Italy and especially Sicily)

Re: Humour about atheists
Atheists dish it out by the truckloads to Christians (let's face it, just Christians.) they ought to learn to take it on the chin whatever inevitably comes their way.

Re: Article: John Kasich's Faith Hurt Him?
Also, the thing about relying on individuals to care for the poor is like abstinence-only education - a nice idea that falls short in practice. You're right, the only person you can rely on is yourself. :P Responsibility, self-empowerment, self-reliance, individualism, and autonomous, independent s...

Re: Article: John Kasich's Faith Hurt Him?
Tell me what you would do or how you would feel it was put to a vote in several states and even very liberal states that only Christians can own businesses in the US and in every state the people voted NO and rejected it even in the most liberal of states and one day the US supreme court just wrote...

Re: Article: John Kasich's Faith Hurt Him?
Ignoring the obvious troll attempt, I feel like Kasich's faith angle as a presidential contender was overshadowed by all the other buffoonery along the trail. Interesting bit of news you found, Phillip. I wasn't aware of many of the faith outreaches Kasich had made. Kind of makes me wish I gave him ...

Re: CRUZ DROPS OUT!!!
I heard that Glenn Beck and Ted Cruz' dad made a suicide pact - as they were just so certain of the "Lord's will" concerning Teddie Boy. Course, the Lord also chose Hitler and Stalin, so I can see how they might have been somewhat confused. Guess the Lord's will changed? Are ...

Gotta agree. Trump isn't a fascist, but he's not a panacea for the U.S. either.Jac3510 wrote:You should stop reading whatever it is that you are reading.Kurieuo wrote:The world will be scary with Trump running the US.
That panacea would be we the people, the individual.

Re: The Walking Dead
Ahem... This is a thread for discussing The Walking Dead . Not that cheap, no good spinoff called Fear The Walking Dead . The latter show is only there to fill the time between seasons of TWD. Fear is my methadone. I don't get any high as I do with TWD, but I don't get any withdrawal eith...

Horator, back away from the pink unicorn riding lady! Any chance you could back away from your childish sniping? Well, like, I tried to lighten up the mood since you are all like "You don't want me here do you?" which is not what he said. -_-* Im sure he can speak for himself No...

Re: The Walking Dead
I don't know if you guys have been keeping up or not, but Fear The Walking Dead is starting to get more and more interesting. Basically, it looks like in tonight's episode, one of the kids has found a settlement, camp, compound that is largely untouched by the virus. There are still lights, helicopt...

Re: The future of world religions
My gut feeling is that this decline has to do with a decline in people who identify with a faith. Same goes for pollsters who sample the daily prayer habits of people, and draw conclusions based on that. You can still be a Christian and not ever pray, though it sounds like it wouldn't be very fulfil...

Re: Answering an atheist
I don't think, as a Christian, I'd ever join an atheistic website. I'd feel like I was purposefully going against the grain there, and that's just not how I want to be: a person who seeks arguments. I feel the same if you are a pepsi fan and you join a coke website. Or a baseball fan in a football f...

Re: So I was watching MSNBC...
I read that earlier. Boner really laid into Cruz. And is it an insult to Satan, to equate him with Cruz? Is Satan really as bad of a liar as Cruz? Yeah, I think that was wrong of him to say, that's just hyperbole to the ^363rd degree. ... Does anyone know why he said that? I haven't been ...
