Re: Is being an atheist irrational?
I already thought I shouldn't encourage Abelcainsbrother, but he was avoiding my question. His answer that I first should become a true Christian was a non-answer. Why does he think I cannot understand/grasp what he believes? Is that solely reserved for do-believers? How about if I would say "F...

At Kurieuo:
I have to think about your answer…
At Abelcainsbrother:
Still waiting for your answer on the Gap Theory…

Re: Is being an atheist irrational?
Getting back on topic, this is interesting.[/quoute] And from that interview... Here’s why. If a belief is as likely to be false as to be true, we’d have to say the probability that any particular belief is true is about 50 percent. Now suppose we had a total of 100 independent beliefs (of course, ...

Re: Is being an atheist irrational?
Still, you are repeating yourself in non-answering. I've seen you are very active on this forum and definitely have a weakness for science, especially the Gap Theory. So, let's try something I do not have be a Christian for: I've read a little about the Gap Theory, but failed to find the true eviden...

You are avoiding an answer, Abelcainsbrother. Then get saved by Jesus and you'll have proof.

Re: Is being an atheist irrational?
Maybe the fact that I am an atheist is evidence enough to prove that atheism is true (might be true .There is no proof or evidence atheism is true and atheists will tell you they don't have to have evidence, this means they know they don't.

Re: Is being an atheist irrational?
Maybe you can elaborate me about the true evidence about the Gap Theory?
Being a theory it implements it might be wrong.

Re: Is being an atheist irrational?
Dear Abelcainsbrother,
Since I think you would beforehand reject everything that might even come close to any proof that atheism might be true, there's no point in discussing it with you.

Re: Is being an atheist irrational?
Yes and no. One does not need the Bible to believe in God, but the Bible is God and God is the Bible. They are entwined. The Bible is the historical document in which God word is written. How can you see God apart from the Bible? You even quote your posts with "Whoever will call on the name of ...

Re: Is being an atheist irrational?
I don’t mind being called irrational. Rational/irrational is a kind of perspective. Maybe I’m irrational in the eyes of a Christian, but not in the eyes of an atheist. And v.v. And who holds the truth? I’ve met (many years ago) people that claim to know the truth (about God), but it were fruitless d...
