Dating Problems
Dating Methods: Although there are different methods of dating, each one has not been proven infallible and even evolutionists have had dissentions on the accuracy of the methods used. Here are some examples: 1. Carbon 14 or potassium argon dating method: Using the potassium-argon method of dating,...

Questions of the Beginning.
Perhaps what each of us believe will always be a matter of faith (at least in this life) but here are some thoughts. I believe that the "7 days" are a literal 7 days because the same word for "day" is used throughout the Bible for a literal day. I believe it was a literal 7 days ...

At this point any of the following answers are equally valid. Life came to earth on a comet. Life came to earth on an asteroid. God created life. Life formed spontaneously. There is an evolutionist site that mentions the above hypothesis but also points out where most evolutionists disagree with th...

Faith = Ignroence in some cases
If man did not need evidence, there would be no need for an empty tomb. Some people try to make "ignorance" synonomous with "faith" and believe that makes it OK not to be able to give a ready answer. Those kind of people will not be able to help those skeptics who may actually be...

Best Translation
The best translation of the Old Testament is the Brenton's version of the Septuagint. The Septuagint was written in 250 B.C. The Bibles we have today came from the Masoretic Text which was written betwee 350 and 900 A.D. Many things changed with the Masoretic Text. see: http://www.geocities.com/bkit...

Isaiah 7 Prophecy
This prophecy was at least two fold. The prophecy was indeed fulfilled once during the days of Isaiah. See my website on prophecy and the Bible side by side at: http://biblehistoryevi.freeforumsite.com/?mforum=biblehistoryevi Some critics do not believe the verse was in the original texts. The Vati...

The Bible and Myth
I have studied the Bible and Myth. It is pretty complicated so I will just make this brief. Skeptics will take just one coincidence out of a legend and if the Bible has something similar, skeptics automatically will say the Bible must have been written based on that one similarity. Here is a simila...

Creation Storyand Light
Jay, if you use the oldest texts we have (The Septuagint and the Samaritan Pentateuch) you will find that the words for "light" are two different words. The first one means "fire" or "torch" while the second one means "illuminators" I used the LXX for this. Y...

No Time With God
Hey Jay, good questions. Did you ever see the movie "Back to the Future?" I think of God like that. There is no time with God. There is no future or past with God. He looks back on what he also looks forward on and therefore, there is no time with God. Let's say you could go back in time ...

I used to be a skeptic too and understand you completely. Please look at my site and see if it helps. I study ancient history and archeology and find it does truly support the Bible.
