I think the best thing to say is that omniscience is simply a part of God's nature. That is, it's not necessarily that He sees as one might look at a film reel, or that He accurately "predicts" the future as in He works out what will be, rather He just knows within Himself because omniscie...

It shouldn't be overlooked that Paul was also speaking within the culture of his time. I just don't see any reason today why women shouldn't be allowed not to speak. Perhaps in Middle Eastern countries, and other places where men are more respected than women (as like in Paul's time men would be lis...

I like to think of it from this angle. Can God use anyone to fulfill His purpose? If He made a donkey talk, then I don't see why a woman would not be able to speak. If a woman meets the same standard as a man in obtainable pastorial qualities, then I believe that woman should be allowed to be a past...

Irony has nothing to do with it—what planet are you on? Should a mother be able to decide if their born child is alive? Obviously, what the mother thinks has no impact upon whether one is dealing with an alive human being or not!

That's why in Canada I believe, they want to remove and ban the Leviticus passage on homosexuality, and I'm not quite sure how one gets around the passage in Romans 1.

Please define what you mean by "bad", and tell me how you know if something is "bad"? I define the term 'bad' as doing something which hurts other individuals for your own personal gain. We know something is 'bad' when another person is in anyway injured by the actions of the ba...

Re: The creation of Adam and Eve..

I'm curious of what others here think. Was Adam trully created from the dust of the ground, and Eve created from Adams rib? Thoughts? Yes, but the reason why they could be created from such things is because of God doing the creating. Obviously we couldn't get clay and form a true, living person ou...

First of all, of course it is! Second of all where does scripture say "only scripture?" Or Sola Scriptora (excuse my spelling) Scripture is a direct deposit from the Apostles to all future generations of Christians. Therefore it stands to reason that it would be more accurate on all matte...

A lot of Christians I know are dead keen on converting others into Christianity and I'm at a stage in my life where I'm questioning everything so now is your chance, try to convert me, you think Christianity is the ****? Prove it. Can't prove anything to someone who doesn't want to accept. It's up ...

Same as drinking. Go ahead because you're free and justified by Christ. But should I choose to abstain out of love for the Lord and as a precaution to the sin that drinking can cause, then it's very likely that my faith, my relationship with the Lord, and my bearing witness of God are all the bette...

Felgar, I'm simply going to direct some questions to you which I'd like a responses to in order to clarify before diving in again. But finally, here's the punch line: Romans 8:1-4 1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,[a] 2because through Christ Jesus the law of...

I see what you are saying, there would have to be a cause for a random fluctuation of propeties to occur or something would have had to have been around to create this idea of quantum mechanics, Now you picked up upon one absurdity, which was there is not really "nothing" if quantum mecha...

Galatians 3: 16-18 ---carefully read and notice: " The law, introduced 430 years later, does not set aside the covenant previously established by God and thus do away with the promise. The law doesn't set aside the covenant or the promise. The law doesn't set aside the first/old covenant. Corr...
