Re: Personality types
Just took the test and got ISFJ. I don't know that I answered the questions correctly, it didn't show me any ticks or crosses at the end of it. :P That's what I thought I was - feelings are important to me, but if it comes down to being people-oriented or task-oriented, I'm task-oriented....

Re: The Strongest Argument for God
Here's the timeline and widespread consensus of physicists and astronomers of the first three minutes of the Big Bang - you can find this documentation all over the net : Big Bang's First Three Minutes: 0 second to 10-43 second. Only God knows or can know what happened during this period of time. W...

Re: Personality types
I think that's something everyone here can actually agree on Rick. ;) It's really not surprising there are so many introverts here, discussing things we find interesting without having to come face-to-face with anyone else - most of the extroverts are out there doing things with actual people :ebig...

It's so weird looking back at what you wrote a year or more ago and it's like new to you because you don't remember writing it. If I was the kind of person who kept journals I'd probably be used to it.

Re: Personality types
Just bringing this thread back up to say I now think I'm an ISTJ. I just don't care enough about other people to be ISFJ  I do often find myself dominated by feelings, and do think they're important, but looking at the bigger picture ISTJ fits better. One of the clinchers I found on some websit...

Re: Struggle Reading the Bible?
Many people want to read the Bible, but for whatever reason don't or don't get far. If you have a tablet (best), or smartphone, then I highly recommend trying Read Scripture app by the people who do The Bible Project. URL to get it here: https://www.readscripture.org/ Install it, and give it a try ...

Re: Baby Consent
Doing family day care, it was suggested to us to ask a toddler before checking their nappy (someone said, 'what if they say no?' to which there was no answer :esmile: ); I would always talk to the child at least and tell them what I was going to do. There was quite a lack of common sense in the vide...

Re: Abortion Debate
Let me put it this way: Is stealing to feed your children morally right? Is it justified? In my book, if it's justified, it's morally right. But I've got a feeling you see justified as having to do with what is legal and morality right as what is fair; is this a correct assumption? The stealing wou...

Re: Information - Natural or Intelligence?
What do you think of what I said in the other thread - that if someone's brain works well we say they're intelligent, or they have intelligence? Intelligence is an abstract noun, isn't it? However, it definitely seems that it took intelligence to design all the "machines' that are living things...

Colors, like blue, red, yellow, etc., are adjectives that describe nouns. Intelligence is a noun. Nouns do not describe other nouns, unless it's an attributive noun, which intelligence is not. Basic grammar. Intelligent, and Conscious are adjectives that describe nouns. I can kind of see where Kenn...
