Re: Something from nothing

Maybe Story meant, there can't be ANYTHING without something (and A) that something had do precede ALL other things and could not have created itself). If storyteller meant that, she'd be discounting creation ex nihilo . Not only that, she'd be setting Kenny off on an endless set of questions that ...

Re: Have we crossed the line yet?

Um... That's an interesting point. Hypothetically, if Jesus were here in the US today , instead of in the Middle East 2000 years ago, he would be paying taxes that support abortion. And if the US made it mandatory to vote, he may well have voted for Trump! Wrap your head around that! Ah... My apolo...

Re: Atheist question

I keep getting drawn back to this post. I never knew how to answer them, saw them as a stumbling block in explaining my faith. I think, maybe, because they are the kind of questions I struggled with. So Myra Hindley is in heaven yet the dear little old lady down the road goes to hell because they d...

Re: Have we crossed the line yet?

My whole point with the hypothetical of voting being mandatory by law, was to show that Jesus would obey the law of the land, not break the law. How much information would Jesus have upon his arrival? Does he have perfect knowledge, being that he's God and all, or is he coming here straight from th...

Re: Churches open 24 hours ?

I need a church near me open 24 hours and can't find one. Does anyone know where to find one? I noticed on some of my favorite movies churches are open 24/7. I read "crime" as a reason for churches being locked at night. Which leads me to wonder if churches could get key cards. I would like to go t...

Re: Goliath's Home Town Revealed

It's the "basement" of the city above, where Goliath's parents lived.

Upon study, it seems that Goliath smoked marijuana, and lived in his parents' basement.

Re: Have we crossed the line yet?

ACB: "... he would probably use Republicans hypocrisy in a parable to get a point across about hypocrisy." Wow, Abe believes there is actually such a thing as Republican hypocrisy. Who knew???!!! The real question is does he believe there is such a thing as... alt-right hypocrisy alt-right ...

Re: Atheist question

Zacchaeus, I'd ask if he believes that rape and forced love, is real love. God wants us to choose to be with Him in eternity. God loves us, not because any of us deserves His love, but because of who He is. If someone doesn't want to love Him, God's not going to force anyone to be with Him eternally...

If you're saying that Jesus is no longer a man, you may want the rethink that.
