Re: I want to talk about the Sabbath

perhaps you have misunderstood what I am asking? I'm not talking about the in's and outs of practising the sabbath just the other various lessons that we can still learn from it.

I want to talk about the Sabbath

Since I'm new here I'm just wondering if any of the other members might know of another site where they might spend more time talking about the Sabbath? I understand that this topic is divided over but I have a lot of related thoughts I wish to talk over with a few people whom might have spent more ...

Re: PA takes case to U.N.

Well........IF you believe the nation of Israel today has been placed back in the lands by God it would seem he used the UN to do it because it was through the UN the agreements were made soooooo then if they are back at the UN why don't you think that is also God's hand at work?

Re: Are we still required to follow Mosaic law?

I wonder if very many have consider that when Jesus said what he said about the law. Definition of "fulfill" - "Bring to completion or reality; achieve or realize (something desired, promised, or predicted)." That yes it was fufilled in him and is yet to be fufilled in the heart ...

Re: What was the Sabbath pointing too?

I guess I spooked you all with that last little point.... Ok here are a few other thoughts with the pattern or lessons in the bible with the sabbaths. If some one did self serving work on the sabbath they were to be killed. We are now looking to the future 1000's years in which the judgement will oc...

Re: Christmas

I understand but I am also very disappointed with the actions of our so called christians society and what is done and mixed in with Christmas. I have often wondered if every christian was to just not buy wrapping paper how much money would that add up too? How about all the plastic junk that breaks...

money and the predator prey cycle

Hello new friends, Here is how I'm seeing the money system in connection to the patterns I keep thinking about with the predator/prey cycle that humanity can not avoid. The money is equal to the food supply in nature and just as in nature there are always counter balancing forces. So we have the gov...

Re: Hell fire ?

Dear Celt, With regards my personal beliefs on what hell is I've worked backwards from all the scriptures that speak of eternal life and for myself the bible seems extreemly clear on that matter. ONLY redeemed righteous believers receive eternal life as a great and beautiful gift from God. For someo...

Re: Science article about evangelicals and catholics

I feel the point is more connected to faith itself. The men of old had faith, Abraham still had plain old faith. The arrangement that God made for forgiveness changed but faith has always been the same. I hope you also are understanding that I see the man that was healed as a Jewish believer in God ...

Re: Science article about evangelicals and catholics

I must say I am in the camp that believes theres a big difference between trusting faith and doctrinal views. I understand it is hard for some Christians to believe if's possible for others to be Christian if they believe differently about the nature of Jesus. I was thinking about this and recalled ...

Re: Hell fire ?

I don't normally use that term 'eternal punishment' because I feel the word punishment is perceived as an action type word by many. I don't see that as the true meaning when looking at these other vs's which speak of eternal life as a gift to believers only. Thus for myself I see the single moment o...

Re: Hell fire ?

I'm not arguing against a 'type' of judgement, to lose out on the gift of eteral life is the greatest lose anyone can have! I'm just saying I don't believe the old teaching of live suffering of pain. Here are more scriptures that my belief is based on that only the faithful believers live forever. J...
