Ahh thank you so much. I tried to do a search of the guy doing the conference and the title of the conference, but nothing came up!

"Covert Messiah"
Hey, everyone! I haven't been on the site in a while, and I hope each of you is doing well :) I wasn't sure what section was best suited for this. Joseph Atwill is proposing that Christianity was a ploy created by aristocrats in order to force a certain social stratification. It's a theory I've pers...

Re: sin that leads to death
And as far as the "Protestant misconception" comment, I have no idea to what Protestants you are referring. Because I would not say that what you were referring to is a universal Protestant doctrine.

Re: Mother Theresa died an atheist
I have to say that I have gone through this, and am still slowly but surely pulling through it, with God's help I'm pretty sure. But just the fact that so many people have been through this horrifying experience at least consoles me a little bit. Thanks for posting the links and reading suggestions!...

Re: sin that leads to death
But that brings up the question, yet again, how much do you have to sin in order for it to be the last straw? How much sin is too much?

Re: sin that leads to death
Assuming John was referring to earthly death, it would be strange for him to ask us not to pray for those who are commiting sins that directly endanger thier lives. If there is a sin that can lead a saved man to lose his salvation, that would contradict OSAS, and I propose that this interpretation ...

dells, you assert that the verses you quoted debunk OSAS, yet you don't provide any evidence or explanation to back up your claim. Please enlighten us.

Re: Clothing Laws?
So, Jac, I'm genuinely curious: how does the Law fit into our lives as Christians? I understand that we are not required to live under the law, but how should we live? Is the law not a good indicator, if nothing else, on how God wants us to behave?

Re: Clothing Laws?
But I'm sure that will just open up yet another discussion on what laws are meant for us as Christians and what was meant only for the theocracy God set into place with His people.

Re: Clothing Laws?
Honestly, the concept of male v. female clothing is dependent upon culture. It is a man-made concept. Therefore, I tend to agree with Rick on this one. Laws that pertain to culture traditions only applied to the culture these laws were presented to.

Re: What are you listening to?
I listen to a variety of music most of the time, but lately I've been listening to one of my favorite bands, Meg & Dia. They recently posted all of their albums for free (and have since put them back up for regular price), so I downloaded a few that I didn't have. I've been a happy clam since
