Re: There is no Hope without Jesus

I don’t think you could choose what to believe any more than you could choose to believe something is beautiful or not, or that something taste good or not. If you choose what you believe, could you choose to believe you can fly like a bird? Can you choose to believe something is true even though y...

Re: There is no Hope without Jesus

If a person has no choice in what they believe then how can what they believe be based on rational thought? Re: There is no Hope without Jesus

I wouldn't say people choose what they accept to be true, to reject something that makes sense to you because it goes against what you want to be true is a form of lying. It would be honest to change your agenda rather than to reject what make sense to you. Are you saying that people don't choose t...

Re: There is no Hope without Jesus

Some people, typically skeptics, are intimated by the word "belief", because they think it means something irrational. The moment we accept anything, fact or otherwise, we are making a statement of belief. To accept the 1st law of thermodynamics is to believe the evidence presented to you...

I can summarize their basic premise: black people are not human, but a separate sub-species or entirely different species entirely, that simply stayed in sub-Saharan Africa and had no connections to the outside world until Portuguese slavers began to buy warlord's captured enemies. And since then, ...
