Re: Transgenders and same sex marriage

The Bible itsays if you are saved you will not live in sin. Or does the bible say that you are not supposed to sin again? Those that accept Jesus are saved BUT because we are human, we may/will sin again. Salvation does not equal being God and only God is sinless and only God does not sin. Even sav...

Re: Was Adam and Eve saved?

Jesus body was dead and buried but His Spirit/soul was not in the grave.
Note that He went and preached to the imprisoned spirits.

Re: Well, what about offensive historical public monuments?

The area in which I live, is largely conservative. So, most radio talk shows are of the conservative nature. I constantly hear conservatives on these shows, complain about leftists and liberals who want the statues that honor confederates, removed. Am I the only conservative that thinks that traito...

Re: Were the Nephilim and the Sumerian mythical kings somehow related?

Reasonable people who hold a high view of Scripture CAN reasonably disagree on this issue. But what I want to know, what does it change for us if we don't know the truth of how things went down in the days of Noah? If we don't personally know or have it right about the Nephilim, what would be diffe...

Re: Were the Nephilim and the Sumerian mythical kings somehow related?

Also... I will point out again that Satan is in the the presence of God "in addition to" (ie 'also') and not as part of the "sons of God" according to Job 1:6... I would argue, on the grounds I mentioned before, that MAY be the case but doesn't HAVE to be the case since the term...

Re: Were the Nephilim and the Sumerian mythical kings somehow related?

If Satan fell before/during his temptation of Adam and Eve, then he would be a fallen angel coming into God's assembly in Job. Yes? Correct... and this is exactly what we see in both Job and Genesis. In Genesis we see Satan on earth tempting Adam and Eve to sin. This demonstrates that Satan was alr...

Re: Well, what about offensive historical public monuments?

I don't know much about the American Civil war, besides what is taught in school, so I searched about Lee and found this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_E._Lee This part here stuck out a bit: Lee's views on slavery Since the end of the Civil War, it has often been suggested Lee was in some sen...

Re: Were the Nephilim and the Sumerian mythical kings somehow related?

The presumption that Genesis 2 is a recapitulation of Genesis 1:26-28 is just that... an extrascriptural presumption that is forced on the text. There is nothing in the text itself to indicate that Genesis 1 and 2 are not sequential narratives, and the context and sequence of events within the narr...

Re: Media and Charlottesville Racist Riot

Did God create right and wrong, and whether He did, is he bound by it? The famous " Is something good because God says it is, or is it good because it is good" question. God is good, or more correct: God is goodness. The embodiment of good because in Him there is no lacking and bad or evi...

Re: Media and Charlottesville Racist Riot

There is enough blame to go around on all sides of this "event", as usual. Anyone that things this is one sided is suffering from a serious lack reality check. I Jesus the solution to these problems? Depends on what you mean by that. A believer in Jesus, a true believer ( as much as I hate...
